What can I do for you
What can I do for you
So, you’re here wondering who I am or how can I help you? Right? Well, let me start with condensed version of my journey, and where I started. Every story has a beginning and an end, but my story ends beautifully.
responsibilities. I landed in jail for crimes I committed, and was told I didn’t belong there. Which I agreed. Being in jail was an I opener and not something I recommend some people. After, I got out, I still wanted live the stubborn life.
It got to the point where I needed to make the call. I was in my early twenties when Long Beach, CA was calling me. I wasn’t going nowhere at my home town of Grand Rapids, MN and decided there was a need for change. I wasn’t open to change at the time.
After leaving Grand Rapids, MN saying good-bye to family. My life was about to take a turn for the worst. Before I arrived in California, I looked around and noticed a big cloud. “Smog!” Someone told me, as we got closer to California. I couldn’t believe my eyes at first, but reality was kicking in. Everything was about to come into existence.
After we arrived in LA, I was blown away by the scenery. Palm tress, low-riders, luxury homes, and the hood. Yep, the place where I found myself. Right back to the same environment, different state.
After, I arrived with little to no money, homeless, and hopeless. I was lost, confused, and scared. Several months later, I knew deep down I need to make the call. I soon found myself at the Long Beach Rescue Mission where my life would be forever changed.
During my time at the homeless shelter, I chose to join the program since it was a last resort. While going through the program which felt like prison in a way, but knew I had other option’s, but felt at the time it was the best option at the time.
While at the mission, I learned about the program they had at the time, and felt it would be best since, I was wondering around aimlessly in Long Beach, CA not doing anything productive.
After talking to the chaplains at the mission, they told me to hang out and not to go anywhere. During the one year program I learned a great deal about myself. Especially my strength and weaknesses. I read a lot, and worked a lot. I decided to quit smoking which took numerous tries, but had a strong enough conviction that got me to quit cold turkey.
Although I struggled to quit, I realized that whatever I put my mind to, I can accomplish. The feeling was overwhelming and set me on a course to success. Even though, I went through somethings that was hard to explain, I realized that anything is possible to if you are hungry enough (I don’t mean food).
Well, after competing the program, I chose to go back to school. I decided I wanted to be a life long learner. One of the best parts about the program is learning about “denial!” Yep, the word most don’t want nothing to do with, but the ones who are tired of the daily routine or regimate.
If you’re tired of the same life you’re living, then it’s up to you to make the call. It’s O.K. to look in the mirror and
Tell yourself what you need to do. Sometimes you need to pull yourself together and make the call.
Here is where I step in. I will help you understand the process of change. What steps you need to take, the different goals that you can set for yourself, and so much more. Just note, it’s a process, and change is good. So, keep this in mind when pursuing something you never thought was possible.
Also, don’t forget that a major step in the right direction will not be an easy one. You will have people critize you and talk bad. In fact, you may end up removing people from your life. People that aren’t there to help you or support you.
So, if your ready for the adventure of a life-time subscribe and watch how your life changes for the good.
One thing, I do want to mention is, it’s not an overnight process, it take months and years to make the right changes into habits.
So if you’re ready lets begin.
